2 New Volunteer Hillsborough Firefighters Join the Ranks

Andrew Santos and Sean Boland graduated from Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Two new firefighters joined the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Company #3 after graduating from Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy.

The Fall 2016 class graduated on Jan. 25 and included new firefighters Andrew Santos and Sean Boland.

For their effort, determination and dedication to the more than 190 hour course, they earned state and national accreditation and will now serve their community for years to come.

In attendance was Chief Mike Murphy, Captain Tom Marvits, Lieutenant Seth Freund, Ex-Chief Charlie Nuara, Firefighter and Vice President Roy Horowitz and Lieutenant Ken Johnson.
