HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The December blotter included a $1,200 theft of alcohol, DWI arrests, and shoplifting.
Hillsborough Police Blotter items for December 2025:
On Dec. 1: An 83-year-old resident at 351 Rt. 206 (All-American Assisted Living) reported between Nov. 26 and Nov. 28 an unknown actor stole $5,000 in cash from the apartment. The investigation is ongoing.

On Dec. 2: The owner of Pendelton Brake Garage (131 Rt. 206) reported seeing someone try to open the front door while viewing their security cameras. Officers searched the property and did not locate anyone on scene. Nothing was damaged or stolen.
On Dec. 5: A 70-year-old resident of 395 Amwell Road (Bridgeway Care) reported his debit card was being used online and in stores in Manville. At the time of the report, the value of the theft was $260. The investigation is ongoing.

On Dec. 6: A white Infinity G35 fled from an officer while trying to stop the vehicle on the Route 206 Bypass. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and left the township. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 7: Officers responded to the Days Inn Hotel (118 Rt. 206) for the report of a man breaking a piece of Plexiglass on the front desk and stealing two cans of beer from behind the counter. The man and a woman then fled the parking lot in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 7: Sophia Sapienza, 22, of Belle Mead, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Millstone River Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 10: Vineborough Liquors (315 Rt. 206) reported a man stole a bottle of Don Julio Tequila and fled the store. After the staff followed the man outside into the parking lot, the man dropped the bottle and fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 10: Manish Amin, 55, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Durham Court. During the investigation, he provided a driver’s license that was not his own. He was charged with obstruction (Disordely Persons) and Hindering (Disorderly Persons) as well. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 11: A resident of Treeman Drive reported an Amazon package valued at $20 was stolen after delivery. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 11: Kim Hyun Woo, 31, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 11: Cedric Andrews, 62, of Rahway, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Millstone River Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 11: A resident on Hamilton Road reported an ATV, a dirtbike and power tools were stolen from a shed on the property. The items were valued at $6,000. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 13: A Columbia Court resident reported a package containing laptop computers was stolen from the property after delivery. He valued the package at $2,292.41. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 16: Shell Gas Station (600 Rt. 206) reported a white Infinity sedan got $59.02 worth of fuel, then fled before paying. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 16: Petrock’s Liquors (419 Amwell Road) reported between Nov. 28 and Dec. 15 the same man stole $1,200 worth of alcohol by hiding bottles under his shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 16: A resident of Deanna Drive reported two men opened his mailbox and stole an unknown amount of mail. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 17: A resident of Corle Place reported a package containing vitamins, soaps and books was stolen after delivery. The package was valued at $86 and the investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 19: Shoprite (601 Rt. 206) reported on Dec. 14 a unknown man stole $239.65 worth of groceries. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 20: Patrick Roberts, 31, of Philadelphia, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 20: A resident of Hillsborough reported losing his wallet at the Quick Check (273 Rt. 206). He responded back to the store and found staff had his wallet. Later in the day, he found several fraudulent charges on his credit cards. The investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 22: Ariane Contiferreira, 34, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 24: Kedar Thorton, 51, of Hillsborough, was charged with trespassing (Disorderly Persons) after he was found soliciting in front of Shoprite (601 Rt. 206). He was served his charge and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 24: Sandra Briganti, 51, of Hillsborough, was arrested for shoplifting (Disorderly Persons) after she was found to have taken $385.74 worth of items from Shoprite (601 Rt. 206). She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 25: Kurt Stives, 31, of Ringoes, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Starview Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 27: Luis Reyes, 35, of Elizabeth, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 29: Jeffrey Figueroa, 28, of New Brunswick, was arrested for obstruction (Disorderly Persons) after he refused to provide his identification to officers while on a traffic stop on Hillsborough Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 30: Chain Gan Towing (203 Valley Road) reported Slade Wagner, 55, of Hopewell had not paid an outstanding bill for $1,638. After an investigation, Wagner was charged with theft of services (Disorderly Persons). He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Dec. 31: Two Hillsborough juvenile boys, ages 15 and 16, were stopped joyriding in one of their parents' Kia Soul on Gateway Boulevard. They were turned over to their parents and issued summonses.
