2018 Hillsborough Fire Election Information

Know who's running, what ballot questions will there be, and where and what time voting will take place.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Fire Election will be held on Saturday where residents will vote to elect Hillsborough Township Board of Fire Commissioners, approve the annual budget and more.

There are two, three-year commissioner positions open and four people running for these positions, including incumbent members Mike Carone and Pat Buckley against newcomers Judy Faulkner and Rollin Rathbun.

  • Approval of the annual operating budget for 2018
  • Approval to purchase two fire trucks in 2019 to replace two fire trucks that are more than 20 years old
  • Approval to purchase a brush fire truck in 2019 to replace a truck that is more than 25 years old

Polls will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. and voting will take place at the municipal building at 379 South Branch Road in Hillsborough.
