2nd Generation Family-Run Nail Salon To Host Reopening In Hillsborough

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Truc Luu and Tram Thompson, Owners of Topline Nails in Hillsborough, are celebrating the grand opening of their family-run salon after a fire destroyed their business in January.

A ribbon cutting will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. with Hillsborough Mayor Catherine Payne at Topline Nails’ new location at The Shoppes at Woods Tavern, at 438 Route 206 in Hillsborough.

Following a fire in January, Nguyen's daughters, Luu and Thompson, formed Topline Nails Hillsborough LLC to carry on their mother's legacy in the salon.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony formally celebrates the reopening of Topline Nails after its former location was destroyed by a fire in January.

Inside the new salon, the family has added all new equipment and put a strong focus on sanitary practices.

Each table has a dust vacuum, and the new pedicure chairs are pipeless and use liners for each client.

The salon also added junior pedicure chairs for children, expanded its pedicure menu with deluxe and collagen options, and now uses single-use paraffin wax for hands and feet, along with disposable files and buffers.

Topline Nails also offers manicures, pedicures, waxing and hand-painted nail art, and clients can see designs on the business's Instagram and Facebook pages.
