3 Dogs Left In Car Overnight, Woman Charged In Hillsborough

Eight people were also charged with driving while intoxicated during the month of December, according to the Hillsborough Police Blotter.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A woman was charged after police say she left three dogs in her car overnight in Hillsborough.

On Dec. 21, Shanna Tucker, 41, of Gloucester, VA, was charged with a violation of a township ordinance for the Treatment of Animals.

Hillsborough Police said Tucker left three dogs in her car overnight on Concord Street. Tucker was served her summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 9: A resident of Francis Drive reported their credit card was used in several towns in northern New Jersy and Met Life Stadium. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 13: Michael Decolias, 37, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 13: JT Landscaping from Raritan Borough reported a brick was thrown through the window of their Bobcat while it was parked at 856 Route 206. The damage was valued at $3,000. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 14: Orlando Cornejo, 37, of New Providence was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Dukes Parkway East. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.

Dec. 15: Jeremy Castro, 37, of Hillsborough was charged with Hindering (Disorderly Persons) after he fled from a traffic stop on Triangle Road. He was served with summonses and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 17: Roddy Diaz-Alfaro, 32, of Manville was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Brown Ave. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 17: A resident of Gateway Boulevard reported a package worth $105 was taken after delivery. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 18: A resident of Gateway Boulevard reported a package worth $100 was taken from his front door. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 19: Airgas Dry Ice (109 Stryker Lane) reported someone siphoned $300 worth of gas from one of their trucks overnight. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 19: Sujatha Balu, 51, of Belle Mead, was charged with shoplifting (Disorderly Persons) after taking $280 worth of items from the Shoprite (601 Route 206). She was served with a summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 19: Franklin Bolanos, 69, of Somerville, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Sunnymead Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 22: Edgar Tax, 37, of Plainfield, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Capricorn Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 24: Anthony Toresco, 60, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Robin Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 24: Yasin Morris, 42, of Manville, was charged with Shoplifting (Disorderly Persons) after taking $367 worth of meat from Weis Market (315 Route 206) without paying. He was served with a summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 28: Marco Toresco, 28, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Independence Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 28: Carbro Construction (375 Roycefield Road) reported while reviewing surveillance they found a man walking around the property at 2 a.m. It was unknown if he stole anything or why he was there. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 29: Megan Salmon, 38, of Flemington was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Willow Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Dec. 31: Curtis Curry, 45, of Hillsborough was charged with shoplifting from Weis Market (315 Rt. 206) after he took $30 worth of items without paying. He was served with a summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
