3 Hillsborough Locals Arrested For DWI, Marijuana Possession

Hillsborough Police also arrested Bridgewater, Raritan and Somerset locals for marijuana possession and 2 Manville locals for shoplifting.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Three Hillsborough locals were recently arrested for charges including driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession, according to the police blotter.

On April 9: Bruce Lukens, 57, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI after being stopped in his vehicle on South Branch Road. He was also charged with resisting arrest and refusing to submit to breath samples. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On April 13: Cole Curran, 20, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of marijuana after being located in Ann Van Middlesworth Park after hours. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On April 14: Kanika Williams, 39, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI after being stopped in her vehicle on Fine Road. She was issued additional summonses for refusing to submit breath samples, having an open alcoholic beverage container, improper parking, and failing to produce a valid registration and insurance card. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On March 28: Jonathan Kersis, 29, of Manville and Michael Kovalchick, 33, of Manville were charged with shoplifting $219.32 worth of merchandise from the Kohls Department Store on Route 206. The incident was reported to have occurred on March 26. Both were later processed and lodged in Somerset County Jail pending a court appearance.

On March 28: James Barreca, 23, of Staten Island, New York was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Route 206 and Brooks Boulevard. He was issued an additional summonses for failing to maintain his lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On March 31: Omar Flores-Agosto, 36, of Somerset was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Amwell Road. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summonses for failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On April 3: Kirill Kush, 22, of Somerset was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Brooks Boulevard. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summonses for failing to maintain vehicle lamps and having controlled dangerous substance (CDS) in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On April 16: Sara Ginsburg, 23, of Bridgewater was arrested for possession of marijuana after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 206. She was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued summonses for careless driving and having CDS in a motor vehicle. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On April 20: Christopher Felice, 23, of Raritan was arrested for possession of marijuana after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 206. He was also issued a summonses for having CDS in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
