3K Run/Walk With Your Dog Benefiting Project K-9 Hero In Hillsborough

Participants can bring their leashed dogs to the "fun run/walk" that will be held at Woodfield Park in Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Paws In The Park, a 3K Run/Walk, will be held at Woodfield Park in Hillsborough and benefit 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Project K9 Hero.

The "fun run/walk" will be held on Monday, May 26, with a rolling start anytime between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 154 Beekman Lane, Hillsborough.

"Participants are welcome to track their own speeds, though times won’t be published, keeping the event light-hearted and non-competitive," according to the event description.

There is no registration fee however, 100 percent of donations will go to Project K9 Hero.

Project K-9 Hero works to "ensure the best quality of life for our nation’s retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs by providing assistance with medical costs, prescription food, rehabilitation, rehoming, and end-of-duty services."
