4 Masked Men Rob Jewelry Store At Gunpoint In Somerset County: Prosecutor
One of the men entered the store pointing a handgun toward the employees, while the other 2 suspects smashed the glass display cases: Cops.

FRANKLIN, NJ — Four suspects remain at large after robbing a jewelry store in Franklin on Monday. Authorities are asking the public for help in finding them.
On May 1 at around 11:56 a.m., a 911 call reported an armed robbery at a local jewelry store on Hamilton Street in Franklin, according to Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald, SCPO Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor, and Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather.
Franklin Township Police found that three men broke the glass of the locked front door to get inside while a fourth man stayed outside in a vehicle, said McDonald.

One of the men entered the store while brandishing a handgun toward the employees, while the other two suspects smashed the glass display cases and stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry before fleeing the area in a vehicle, said McDonald.
No injuries occurred during the robbery.

Detectives from the Franklin Township Police Department and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit came to the scene to investigate.
The men wore masks and gloves during the robbery and were last seen fleeing the area on Hamilton Street towards Kossuth Street in Somerset in an older model silver 4-door Lincoln Town car believed to have out-of-state license plates, said police.
Investigators are asking the public for help with any information relating to the actors or the aforementioned vehicle which they may have observed in the area on May 1, either before or after the robbery.
