5 Cars Burglarized In Montgomery
An 18-year-old Princeton woman and three Montgomery juveniles were also arrested for marijuana possession in a separate incident: police.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Police are investigating the burglaries of five cars on June 13 in the township.
During the overnight hours on June 13, five cars parked on York Drive in the Yorkshire Woods Development were burglarized, police report.
All five of the vehicles had been left unlocked. Cash and electronics were reportedly stolen from one of the vehicles.

The investigation is continuing and police ask that if anyone sees or hears any suspicious activity in the area that they call police immediately at 908-359-3222.

On June 14: Officers Troy Sudeck and Dewitt Giles were on patrol when they came across a vehicle parked at the Kings Crossing Swim Club at 10:03 p.m. The vehicle was occupied by Sheila Araya, 18, of Princeton, and three juvenile Montgomery residents. During the course of the investigation, Officers Sudeck and Giles determined that there was marijuana in the vehicle. Araya was arrested and subsequently transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Officers contacted the parents of the juveniles and had them respond to the swim club to take custody of their children. Araya was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court. Charges against the juveniles are pending.
On June 14 at approximately 10:30 p.m.: Officers Ryan Gray and Troy Gonzalez stopped a vehicle driven by Rishi Vardya, 18 of Skillman and occupied by another 18-year-old Skillman resident and a juvenile Skillman resident. During the course of the stop, Officers Gray and Gonzalez recovered a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia along with a 1.75 liter open bottle of vodka. Vardya was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. The juvenile male was taken into custody for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to Montgomery Township Police Department and later released to a parent. The 18-year-old passenger was released at the scene. Vardya was also issued motor vehicle citations for failure to maintain lane, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, careless driving and provisional license violation. He was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court. Charges against the juvenile are pending.
On June 15 at approximately 7:34 p.m.: Officers John Colucci and Adam Verducci stopped a vehicle operated by Hector Lopez for having an expired registration. A passenger in the vehicle, Salvatore Pavone, 44 of Trenton, was found to have a $2,500 warrant for his arrest from Freehold Borough Municipal Court. Pavone was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Lopez was issued motor vehicle citations for having an expired registration and being an unlicensed driver. He is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court. Pavone was later released with a new court date for Freehold Borough.
