6 Cases Of Hate, Anti-Semitism Reported In Hillsborough In 2019
In 2019, there were 216 incidents of hate, extremism and anti-Semitism reported in NJ - six cases were in Hillsborough, 1 in Montgomery.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Six incidents of hate, extremism and anti-Semitism were reported in Hillsborough in 2019, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League. One incident was also reported in Montgomery.
In 2019, there were 216 incidents reported in 112 towns in New Jersey, which decreased from the 452 incidents reported in New Jersey during 2018. But the incidents were no less concerning, the report says.

- Dec. 22, 2019: Patriot Front, an alt right group, distributed American flag themed stickers with the QR code for Patriot Front and propaganda that read: "America first," "One nation against invasion," and "Life liberty victory."
- Nov. 3, 2019: Patriot Front, an alt right group, distributed propaganda that read: "Revolution is tradition," "United we stand," "America first," and their group logo.
- Sept. 30, 2019: Members of the New Jersey European Heritage Association held a gathering at the Sourland Mountain Preserve in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
- Aug. 30, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed propaganda that that read: "Reclaim your nation reclaim your heritage," "America belongs to Americans," and "Mass immigration is white genocide."
- July 15, 2019: Daily Stormer Book Club, an alt right group, distributed anti-Semitic propaganda that read: "HOLO-CAUST=FAKE NEWS The people that lied about soap, lampshades are lying about gas chambers and ovens." (See Related: Anti-Semitic Flier Posted On Hillsborough Municipal Building)
- June 11, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed fliers that read: "Stop the third world invasion Build the Wall Deport them all! Troops to the border now." "Remember the USS Liberty! 1967 Israeli attack against America," and "Defend America."

The Anti-Defamation League tracks the incidents through news and media reports, government documents (including police reports), victim reports, extremist-related sources and the Center on Extremism investigations, according to a "Frequently Asked Questions" section on the ADL's website.
