6 Charged With Driving While Intoxicated In Hillsborough
Among those charges was a Branchburg man who also crashed his vehicle, according to police.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Six people were charged with driving while intoxicated in Hillsborough recently.
Hillsborough Police Blotter:
On Jan. 22: Kyle Flood, 28, of Branchburg was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated as a result of a motor vehicle crash on Riverside Drive near Clawson Avenue. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and failure to keep right. He was released with a court
date.

On Jan. 23: A 50-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped by police on Triangle Road. He was also issued summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and wrong way on a one way. He was
released with a court date.
On Jan. 27: A 23-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped by police in the Hillsborough QuickChek parking lot. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, delaying traffic and failure to maintain lane. He was
released with a court date.

On Feb. 4: A 48-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to the intersection of Route 206 and Amwell Road for the report of a motor vehicle complaint. He was also summonsed for reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and delaying traffic. He was released with a court date.
On Feb. 10: A 51-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to a motor vehicle complaint on Beekman Lane. He was also charged with failure to maintain lane. He was released with a court date.
On Feb. 12: Marcos Zalagado, 38, of New Brunswick was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension after providing police with a false name during a motor vehicle stop on the Route 206 Bypass near Service Road. Once his true identity was revealed it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for fictitious plates, unlicensed driver, unregistered vehicle, failure to inspect and failure to exhibit documents. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending pick up by the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office.
On Feb. 20: A 25-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped by police in the Hillsborough QuickChek parking lot. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a
court date.
