6 New Hillsborough Police Officers Hired
The officers were sworn in during a special ceremony and were joined by their families, Chief Mike McMahon, and Mayor Shawn Lipani.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Six new police officers were hired to serve and protect Hillsborough.
Acting on the recommendation of Chief of Police Mike McMahon, the Township Committee hired the new police officers at the Aug. 10 Township Committee meeting.
"There exists various vacancies within the Department and after a thorough search and interview process of very capable top candidates we are able to hire these officers to fill those vacancies," said Hillsborough Mayor Shawn Lipani.

The officers hired include Patrick Barry, Carmelo Sorce, Timothy Leitstein, Aman Tomar, George Kokinakos, and Kyle Edmonds.
"I'd like to congratulate these candidates on their completion of the rigorous interviewing process and the Police Department looks forward to having them join our ranks," said McMahon.
