7 Drug Arrests Made In Montgomery
A total of seven people were arrested for drug possession by Montgomery Police recently.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A total of seven people were arrested for drug possession by Montgomery Police recently.
Montgomery Police Blotter:
On March 15: Officers Ryan Gray and Eric Hannold were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a Belle Mead business. The business was closed at the time. Upon their arrival, officers located Jose Camacho-Leon, 27, of Dayton and a Belle Mead resident exit the vehicle and start walking away from the car. Officers stopped the pair and determined that Camacho-Leon had marijuana in the vehicle. The marijuana was recovered and Camacho-Leon was arrested. He was transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Camacho-Leon was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.

On April 4: Officer Ryan Gray stopped a vehicle driven by Abdallah Abuhmoud, 23, of Hamilton for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, Officer Gray determined that Abuhmoud was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Abuhmoud was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Abuhmoud was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia, expired vehicle registration, unclear license plates, and having controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
On April 11: Officer John Colucci stopped a vehicle driven by Jerry Zhang, 24, of Belle Mead for using a cell phone while driving. During the course of the stop, Officer Colucci determined that Zhang was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Zhang was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Zhang was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, using a handheld cell phone while driving, and having controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Somerset County Superior Court.

On April 24: Officer Ryan Gray stopped a vehicle driven by Daniel Miller, 41, of Bound Brook for an expired inspection sticker. During the course of the stop, Officer Gray determined that Miller was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Miller was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Miller was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to inspect a motor vehicle and possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
On April 25: Officer John Colucci stopped a vehicle driven by Don Santiago, 24, of Bridgewater for speeding. During the course of the stop, Officer Colucci determined that Santiago was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Santiago was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Santiago was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
On April 29: Officers Ryan Gray and Troy Sudek stopped a vehicle driven by Jesse Tapia, 20, of Passaic for an unclear license plate. The vehicle was also occupied by Luis Campos, 30, of Bloomfield. During the course of the stop, Officers Gray and Sudek determined that Tapia and Campos were in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Tapia and Campos were arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Tapis was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper display of a license plate and possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Campos was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. They were released and have a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
