80-Year-Old Crashes Into Occupied Hillsborough Building Monday
The driver crashed her SUV into the occupied building after her foot slipped off of the brake onto the gas while parking: Police.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — An 80-year-old woman crashed her SUV into an occupied building in Hillsborough on Monday afternoon.
A 911 call reported the crash at 2:32 p.m. where a 2008 For Explorer crashed into the side of Total Care Physical Therapy at 719 Route 206 in Hillsborough.
The SUV was already backed away from the building and covered in glass when police arrived.

Moderate damage was reported to both the building and vehicle.
The driver, Dorothy Prescott, had pulled into a parking spot in front of the building when her foot slipped off the brake and onto the gas causing the vehicle to move forward and crash into the building, Hillsborough Police report.

There were no injuries to either Prescott or occupants of the building.
The Hillsborough building department determined that there was no structural damage to the business.
The following agencies responded to the scene: Hillsborough Police, Hillsborough Fire Departments 27 and 28, Robert Wood Johnson BLS, Hillsborough OEM, Hillsborough Fire Safety Bureau and Hillsborough Building Department.
No injuries were reported to any emergency personnel that responded to the scene.
