$9K Worth Of Wheels, Rims Stolen In Montgomery
More than $9,000 worth of wheels and rims were stolen from a car dealership in Montgomery, according to the police blotter.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — More than $9,000 worth of wheels and rims were stolen from a car dealership in Montgomery.
On Nov. 21, Montgomery Police were called to the Honda of Princeton on the report of a theft. Honda of Princeton employees reported during the overnight hours of Nov. 20 to Nov. 21 two Honda Accords and one Honda Civic had their wheels and rims stolen.
The total value of the stolen property exceeded $9,000. Police are continuing to investigate the theft.

On Dec. 2 at 12:39 a.m.: Mathieu Pinault, 41, of Belle Mead was stopped on Bridgepoint Road after police observed him tailgating another vehicle and failing to maintain his lane of travel. During the stop, Pinault exhibited signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking prior to driving. Police subjected Pinault to field sobriety testing who was subsequently arrested and transported to Montgomery Police Headquarters for processing. Pinault’s vehicle was towed from the scene. At headquarters, Pinault was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, following too closely, reckless driving and failure to produce a registration card and released to a family member. Pinault is scheduled to appear in municipal court.

On Nov. 28 at 6:37 a.m.: Montgomery Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at Route 206 near Belle Mead Griggstown Road. Craig W. Mclure, 27, of Manville was operating a 2013 Toyota Camry southbound on Route 206 when he impacted the rear of a 2012 Ford Escape which was stopped at the red-light on Route 206 south. Further investigation revealed Mclure had an active warrant for $750 out of Bridgewater. Mclure was arrested and transported back to headquarters for processing. Mclure posted bail and was released. Mclure was issued motor vehicle summons for driving with suspended license, careless driving and expired license. Mclure is scheduled to appear in municipal court.
On Nov. 22 at 12:34 p.m.: Montgomery Police stopped Dorsey Calhoun, 46, of Easton, Pennsylvania after observing him operating a vehicle on Pine Brae Ct. near Route 518 without wearing a seat belt. During the stop Calhoun’s driving privileges were determined to be suspended in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Calhoun was found to have active warrants from Branchburg, Clinton, Greenwich Township, Raritan Township (Hunterdon), Raritan Borough (Somerset) and Hillsborough Township totaling $4,002. Branchburg, Clinton, and Greenwich released Calhoun and Calhoun was able to post bail on the warrants from Raritan Township, Raritan Borough, and Hillsborough Township. He was issued motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a sea tbelt and driving while suspended and released pending a court date in municipal court.
On Nov. 21 at 4:11 p.m.: Montgomery Police responded to Route 518 near Route 206 for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Police determined Neerja Goyal, 70, of Princeton was operating a Lexus on Route 518 westbound. Goyal was passing another Lexus operated by Shaozhi Zheng, 55, of Belle Mead who was stopped in traffic on Route 518 westbound. Goyal’s vehicle sideswiped Zheng vehicle while it passed. No injuries were reported and Goyal was issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to keep right and is scheduled to appear in municipal court.
On Nov. 21 at 8:11 a.m.: Montgomery Police responded to the intersection of Route 518 and Cherry Hill Road for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Police determined that Patrick McDermott Jr., 37, of Pennington was turning left from Cherry Hill Road and was impacted by Brian Sootkoos, 33, of Flemington who was traveling east on Route 518. There were no injuries reported and both vehicle were driven from the scene. McDermott Jr. was issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection and is scheduled to appear in municipal court.
On Nov. 18 at 4:45 p.m.: Montgomery Police responded to Route 206 near Center Drive for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Police determined Ryan Weckerly, 21, of Woolwich was traveling north on Route 206 and not paying attention when he struck the rear of a vehicle that was stopping for traffic on Route 206 northbound. The second vehicle was operated by Jun Xi, 47, of Skillman. There were no reported injuries and both vehicles were able to be operated from the scene. Weckerly was issued motor vehicle summons for careless driving and driving while suspended and is scheduled to appear in municipal court.
