HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Fernmoor offered a first public look at Mi-Place® at Hillsborough, a new residential community under construction in the Township.
The event introduced the development to guests ahead of pre-leasing later this year and included a guided walking tour of the site.
Located across from Duke Farms and between Bridgewater and Princeton, Mi-Place® at Hillsborough is planned to bring 96 apartments to the township.
The community will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans.
Fernmoor representatives reported that the buildings are now about 50 percent complete and that overall construction is expected to wrap up by the end of the year.
Remarks at the event were delivered by Jeffrey Fernbach, CEO of Fernmoor, along with project representatives.
"Communities across Central New Jersey have a need for modern rental housing, but until recently development in this area has been limited," said Fernbach. "We believe this project fills an important demand while complementing the character of Hillsborough."
The company said the project expands housing opportunities in Hillsborough Township, a location it described as one of Central New Jersey’s most sought-after areas.
The event also included remarks from Bob Beni, Commercial Lender at Amboy Bank.
"As a Hillsborough resident myself, Mi-Place® at Hillsborough is especially meaningful and personally it’s been a pleasure working with Jeffrey and the Fernmoor team," said Beni. "I’m proud to help support a project that brings new opportunities to the community."
Fernmoor said pre-leasing is expected to begin in mid-summer, with first move-ins anticipated in early fall.
