SOMERSET, NJ — Sigri Indian BBQ, which delivers authentic North Indian barbecue, is now opening a new franchise location in Somerset.
The future location will open at 1135 Easton Avenue, Somerset. And "the restaurant is currently anticipated to open between late 2026 into early 2027," said Craveworthy spokesperson Klaudia Rudny.
The location is part of the Craveworthy Brands concept.
Sigri initially was looking at opening in Hillsborough, but has now announced a Somerset location.
"Founded in 2015, Sigri redefines fast casual dining with a bold and authentic take on North Indian cuisine, inspired by the region’s roadside restaurants known as 'dhabas.’ The concept blends time-honored cooking techniques and culinary creativity to craft a menu that is both deeply rooted in heritage and approachable," according to Craveworthy.
Sigri uses open-flame cooking to infuse dishes with depth and smoky flavor. The menu offers a range of items, including sizzling kebabs, spiced bowls, and kathi rolls.
"Every dish at Sigri tells a story rooted in culture, and with the right local entrepreneur’s passion behind it, that story comes alive in new ways," said Utkarsh Yadav, co-founder of Sigri. "Having started Sigri here in New Jersey, it’s deeply meaningful to see that story evolve through other operators. This next chapter brings new energy and perspective, sharing Sigri’s warmth and soul with a new generation of guests."
