FRANKLIN, NJ — A restaurant caught fire on Monday in Franklin Township.
At 2:19 p.m., a fire alarm was activated at The Imperia by Dhaba at 1714 Easton Ave.
Firefighters found smoke and determined it was coming from a fire in a utility room, said Public Safety Director Lloyd Fredericks.
The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the utility
room.
No injuries were reported, said Fredericks.
Responding agencies included: Somerset Fire and Rescue, Middlebush Fire Department, Elizabeth Ave Fire Company, and Community Fire Company.
"This incident is a testament to the professionalism and dedication of our firefighters and emergency responders," said Public Safety Director Lloyd Fredericks. "Over the past three days, our firefighters have responded to three separate fires, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to protecting the residents, businesses, and visitors of Franklin Township."
The Franklin Township Fire Prevention Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
