MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Township will see the official opening of the long-vacant property on Route 206.
The Montgomery Promenade will officially open on Friday, Aug. 21, when anchor tenant Whole Foods Market holds its grand opening.
The center is at 1200 State Road, and opening festivities are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 292,700-square-foot shopping center is on a 54-acre site that had sat undeveloped for more than 15 years before being built by SJC Ventures.
The Atlanta-based commercial development firm said it helped bring the site to life with guidance from community stakeholders and leaders.
According to the announcement, Montgomery Promenade includes palisades for walking, dedicated open green spaces and restaurants that are described as first-to-market and coming soon.
Whole Foods Market is the center's anchor tenant and will mark the public debut of the project.
