HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Somerset County Board of Agriculture is inviting the public to its annual Agriculture in Action Farm Open House on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Lima Family Farms in Hillsborough.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 86 Rainbow Hill Road.
The open house will give visitors a chance to explore Lima Family Farms, a first-generation farm focused on regenerative agriculture.

The event also will offer information about how livestock are raised and processed locally.
Attendees will have a chance to meet the farmers, ask questions and learn more about agriculture in New Jersey.
The event is intended for a wide range of visitors, including farmers, gardeners, students, food lovers and residents who want to know more about where their food comes from.
Admission is $5 in advance and $10 at the gate.
