FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash with a car on Aug. 15 in Franklin Township.
Karrar F. Alogaili, 19, of Franklin Township, was identified as the man riding an electric motorcycle, said Public Safety Director Lloyd N. Fredericks.
On Saturday just before 1:30 p.m., officers went to Route 27 and South Middlebush Road for a crash and found Alogaili suffering from serious injuries.
Emergency medical personnel from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital took Alogaili to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation found that Alogaili was riding an electric motorcycle south on Route 27 when the crash occurred, as a vehicle made a left turn from Route 27 northbound onto South Middlebush Road.
"Our condolences are with the victim's family and loved ones during this tragic time," said Fredericks. "We urge everyone to slow down, remain alert, and follow the rules of the road."
