MONTGOMERY, NJ — A fuel truck overturned on Township Line Road in Montgomery on Thursday.
At 2:43 p.m., Montgomery Police responded to a crash on Township Line Road, west of Willow Road.
A 2026 Freightliner truck carrying diesel fuel was driving east on Township Line Road when the back passenger-side tires went off the road into a culvert along the roadway, police said.
The truck then overturned on the passenger side.
The driver, a 67-year-old man from South Bound Brook, was uninjured, said police.
Montgomery Fire Company No. 1 and Somerset County Hazardous Materials Response Team came to help with a minor amount of fuel that leaked.
Flagtown Fire/Rescue - Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. #1 also came to help.
The contents of the truck were transferred to another container truck, and the truck was removed from the scene.
Township Line Road was temporarily closed during the crash.
The crash investigation was conducted by the Montgomery Township Traffic Safety Bureau.
