Amy Suraci of Hillsborough has been awarded third place in the 2019 COANJ Achievement Award Program. She received a $1,000 scholarship from the organization.

The County Officers Association of New Jersey Scholarship Committee commended her for her academic achievements and extra-curricular and community service activities. A graduate of Hillsborough High School, Amy is the daughter of Dianne Suraci, an employee with the Somerset County Clerk’s Office.

Amy received her scholarship at the COANJ meeting July 18. Monmouth County Surrogate Rosemarie Peters, a member of the scholarship committee, said choosing winners from such a talented field of young people was very difficult.
