Andrew Zwicker and Maureen Vella to appear at April 1 Hillsborough Democratic Alliance meeting

The Hillsborough Democratic Alliance will meet on April 1, beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the Avalon Assisted Living Center, 393 Amwell Road in Hillsborough.

In addition to regular club business, they will be joined by Andrew Zwicker, scientist and educator at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory and 2014 candidate for the 12th Congressional District, and Maureen Vella, former New Jersey State Senate candidate for Legislative District 16, former municipal court judge and principal at Vella, Singer, Martinez Law Group in Hillsborough. Both are slated to be the Democratic Party’s 2015 nominees for the 16th Legislative District this year, which includes Hillsborough.

Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:45 p.m., and the meeting will start promptly at 7 p.m. Prospective members and others are welcome. Petitions for the primary ballot are due on March 31, so several candidate announcements are expected on April 1.
