Apartment Fire Displaces Hillsborough Residents
Residents in two apartment units were displaced as a result of the fire on Thursday, said Hillsborough Police.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Residents in two apartment units were displaced due to a fire on Thursday.
On April 13 at around 2:34 p.m., the Hillsborough Township Police Department was called to 112 Robin Road Apt. 230 for a report of a structure fire.
Emergency responders found the porch of the unit was on fire and saw visible flames inside the unit through the second-story sliding door, said Hillsborough Police Corporal Christopher Giraldi.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and the resident of apartment unit 230 had minor injuries as a result of trying to extinguish the fire but refused medical attention, said Giraldi.
The fire is not considered suspicious but remains under the investigation of the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the Hillsborough Township Bureau of Fire Safety.

Residents of apartment 230 were displaced as a result of the fire and residents of apartment 229 were displaced due to water damage, said Giraldi.
The following agencies responded: Hillsborough Fire Marshalls, Hillsborough Fire Units 36, 37, 38, Hillsborough Township OEM, Millstone Valley Fire Unit 28, Robert Wood Johnson EMS, as well as the Hillsborough Township Building and Health Departments.
