Award-Winning Poet, Activist To Speak At Quail Brook

Glenis Redmond will share her heartfelt poetry and powerful words about heritage, family, and her inspiration.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - From Somerset County: Join us for a poetic conversation with State Theatre New Jersey’s Artist-in Residence Glenis Redmond. The award-winning poet returns to the Quail Brook Senior Center with more heartfelt poetry and powerful words about heritage, family, and her inspiration.

Ms. Redmond is a critically acclaimed author and the recipient of several esteemed awards, including the NC Literary Fellowship Recipient from the North Carolina Arts Council. Most recently she has published a distinguished book of poetry, entitled “Under the Sun.”

Quail Brook Senior Center is operated by the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services. The multi-purpose facility offers a variety of activities including educational programs, health and wellness information, and a stimulating social setting.

Somerset County Senior Centers offer a wide range of experiences for active older adults in a social and uplifting atmosphere intended to positively impact the overall health of seniors. Members can participate in a variety of programs and activities.
