Bald Eagle Hatch Watch 2024 Underway At Duke Farms In Hillsborough
The egg timer is ticking as eagle eye viewers are watching the famous Bald Eagle nest as the two eggs could hatch very soon.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Eagle eye viewers are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Duke Farms' famous Bald Eagle pair's babies for 2024.
"We are on hatch watch for the Duke Farms eagle cam. Today is day 36 since the first egg was laid," Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.
As of Tuesday morning, a look at the eggs shows no visible pip.

However, "the male has brought food back to the nest which is a sign that hatching is close. The female has been fluffing the nest bowl and turning the eggs frequently," according to the Conserve Wildlife Foundation.
According to Duke Farms, eggs typically take about five weeks to hatch.
The first egg was laid on Jan. 22 at 3:48 p.m., according to Duke Farms.

The second egg was laid Jan. 25 at around 3:36 p.m., according to the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.

Locals are invited to tune into its Duke Farms' Eagle cam — which livestreams the nest 24 hours a day, seven days a week — as there is a possibility for more eggs.
