Bathroom Fire Damages Hillsborough Home: Fire Officials
Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the roof of the home on Sunday afternoon, said authorities.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A fire in an upstairs bathroom damaged a Hillsborough home on Sunday afternoon, said fire officials.
On Sunday, April 3 at about noon, Hillsborough Township Police and Fire Companies were called to 616 Tall Oak Lane for a report of a smoke condition, said police.
Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the roof and fire fighter crews were able to locate the fire in the second-floor master bathroom, said Hillsborough Twp Station 37 Fire.

Firefighters stretched a hose through the front door and put out the fire while additional district crews used a ladder to search for any possible spread of fire, according to fire officials.

No one was injured. The fire does not appear suspicious but remains under investigation, said police.
