Bomb Threat Reported In Hillsborough
Breaking: The Hillsborough Municipal Building was placed on lockdown following a bomb threat Tuesday.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Hillsborough Municipal Building was placed on lockdown following a bomb threat Tuesday.
At around 1:40 p.m., the Hillsborough Township Police Department received a bomb threat to the Municipal Building. The building was placed on lockout while a bomb detection canine and handler from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department assisted officers in a search of the building, police reported.
It was determined that no threat existed and the building later resumed normal operations, police reported.

The incident remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department.
Other responding units included the Hillsborough Township Fire Department and Office of Emergency Management.
