Bridgewater Local ID'd As Man Found In Car At Hillsborough Quick Chek
Authorities are waiting on the autopsy and toxicology report to determine the cause of the unattended death.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Bridgewater man was identified as the person found dead inside a car parked at a Quick Chek in Hillsborough on Monday night, said Somerset County Acting Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart.
The man was identified as 28-year-old Michael Sokolinski of Bridgewater, said Taggart.
Hillsborough Police were called to the convenience store at 273 Route 206 in Hillsborough on Monday after a 911 call was placed around 5:17 p.m. Read More: Body Found Inside Car At Hillsborough QuickChek

Sokolinski was found dead in his car in the parking lot of the Quick Chek. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from the Hillsborough Township Police Department, detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, and investigators from the New Jersey Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office all came out to investigate.

Authorities are waiting on the autopsy and toxicology report from the New Jersey Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of the unattended death.
All unattended deaths in Somerset County are investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office and does not mean that criminal activity occurred or is suspected, according to authorities.
