Girls Volleyball Earns Win No. 9

Jenelle Buckle had eight kills and six digs to pace the Hillsborough girls volleyball team past Warren Hills, 2-0, according to NJ.com. Erin Gannon chipped in with six aces and 16 digs, while Olivia Rowland added seven kills, four blocks and six digs for Hillsborough (9-10).

Field Hockey Eliminated

Despite 11 saves from goalie Kim Barone, the Hillsborough girls field hockey team was ousted in the first round of the North 2, Group IV state tournament after a 1-0 loss to Hunterdon Central, according to NJ.com. Taylor Barrett scored for Hunterdon Central (11-9).
