Car Blaze Extinguished By Montgomery Fire Companies

A car fire that nearly set a Montgomery house on fire was extinguished by township fire officials Monday.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A car fire that nearly set a Montgomery house on fire was extinguished by township fire officials Monday.

At 8:19 a.m., Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 and No. 2 were called to a "well-involved" car fire right next to a township home.

Fire crews were able to get water on the car and extinguish it quickly before the flames made it to the house, according to Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 2.
