Car Doused With Ketchup, Eggs In Hillsborough: Blotter

Hillsborough Police also reported charging 12 drivers with driving while intoxicated throughout March.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Criminal mischief, DWI arrests, home and car burglaries, and mail theft were among the incidents reported in Hillsborough during the month of March.

On March 30, an Oxford Place resident reported their unlocked vehicle was entered and doused with ketchup and eggs, according to the blotter.

The resisent also reported a pizza delivery bag valued at $20 was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 1: Arnoldo Alvarez, 42, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on South Triangle Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 1: Three residents in the area of Winding Way reported mail was stolen from their mailbox. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 2: Caitlin Lewis, 35, of Manville was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Weston Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 3: A 37-year-old of Philadelphia, PA was arrested for obstruction while on a traffic stop on Rt. 206 after he attempted to walk away from the vehicle. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 5: Burnout Cigars and Smoke (601 Rt. 206) reported a masked individual entered the store and stole items off the counter before fleeing to a waiting vehicle across the street. They estimated the stolen merchandise at $1,500. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 7: DCP&P (1600 Brooks Blvd) reported an iPad was stolen sometime in 2019. They valued the iPad at $730.00. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 10: Andrew Devaloy, 31, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 11: A Hillsborough resident reported his pickup truck was "keyed" while parked at the Promenade Shopping Center (315 Rt. 206). He estimated the damage at $500. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 12: A Monroe resident reported the license plate was stolen off his motorcycle while it was being fixed in Hillsborough. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 13: Harold Rodriguez-Lopez, 32, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Raider Boulevard. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 14: Kohls (315 Rt. 206) reported 2 women stole $950 worth of Sephora items at around 9 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 15: A 44-year-old resident of Hillsborough was arrested for failure to turn over a controlled dangerous substance(CDS) to an officer and possession of CDS paraphernalia while on a traffic stop on Dukes Parkway East. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 16: Almuraad Singletary, 33, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 16: Anthony Whitacker, 38, of Manville was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 17: Jose Jiminez-Castro, 34, of South Bound Brook was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Brooks Boulevard. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 19: Michael Suszynski, 50, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop at Sourland Park (421 East Mountain Road). He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 20: Josue Elizondo Sequeira, 22, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Old Camplain Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 20: Bret Babich, 32, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 20: Andrew Dalpe, 33, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on South Triangle Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 21: A resident on Boehm Way reported their residence was broken into and ransacked between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. It was unknown if anything was taken. A neighbor in the area reported seeing a suspicious white SUV earlier in the day. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 21: A resident on Auten Road reported an Amazon package worth $199 was stolen from their front door in February 2024. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 23: Jessica Fagan, 40, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Triangle Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 23: While traveling on the Route 206 bypass, Hillsborough Police officers saw an
abandoned vehicle on the shoulder. The vehicle was found to be stolen out of Jersey City. The vehicle was towed and Jersey City Police were advised of its location. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 25: A resident of Ravena, NY reported while at Iron Peak (137 Mountain View Road) a cell phone was stolen out of his unlocked vehicle. He valued the phone at $1,000. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 25: A Hillsborough resident reported the rear license plate was stolen off his vehicle while parked at Kohls (315 Rt. 206). The investigation is ongoing.

On March 25: Christopher Spina, 50, of South Plainfield was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Mountain View Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal court date.

On March 28: Petrock’s Liquors (419 Amwell Road) reported on March 2 a male stole a $240 bottle of Don Perignon. The investigation is ongoing.
