Carty Replaces Coviello as Raiders Head Football Coach
Former Bound Brook head coach will replace Coviello, who resigned after 2010 season.

The football team will have a new head coach for the third time in the past six years, as Kevin Carty Jr. was announced as the latest at the Board of Education meeting on Monday.
Former Hillsborough head coach Vince Coviello resigned for personal reasons shortly after the 2010 season. Coviello had been the coach since 2007 and compiled a 17-23 record as the Raiders' varsity leader.
"He was a hard worker and did a real nice job for me as head coach," Hillsborough Athletic Director Mike Fanizzi said. "He treated the athletes well and earned respect from the opposing coaches."
