Cat Stuck In Tree Rescued By Volunteer Firefighters In Readington
Readington and Whitehouse firefighters worked together to rescue the cat.
READINGTON, NJ — A cat stuck atop a tree in nearby Readington was rescued by volunteer firefighters on Wednesday.
"Believe it or not these calls actually do happen," said Readington Volunteer Fire Company.
At around 11 a.m., while firefighters were returning from another assignment Tower Ladder 32 was called to help Whitehouse Fire Company with a cat stuck in a tree.

Firefighters used the bucket off the ladder so that they could safely access and remove the cat and bring it back to the ground.
