Catalytic Converters Stolen, DWI Arrests Reported In Hillsborough
Someone also reportedly drove on a township baseball field causing $3,000 in damage, according to police.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police released the latest blotter for the month of April.
On April 3: An unknown actor drove across the baseball fields at 315 Route 206 causing damage to the grass. The damage was estimated at $3,000. An investigation is ongoing.
On April 7: Jorge Caballero Cruz, 44, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Falcon Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On April 8: A 56-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested for DWI during a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 8: A 20-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested for DWI during a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On April 8: A 23-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested for DWI during a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 8: Several Catalytic Converters were stolen from vehicles in the Gateway Boulevard area. Residents in the area recalled hearing power tools in the early morning hours, and saw people "jacking up" vehicles, but did not call Hillsborough Township Police. Police will conduct extra patrols of the area.
On April 15: A 31-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 20: Clifford Cottrell 3rd of Brick was charged with trespassing and theft (both disorderly persons offenses) for entering an abandoned house on Valley Road and removing copper wire. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 23: A 39-year-old man from Somerset was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 27: Francisco Lopez – Mendez, 41, of Martinsville was arrested for hindering after providing officers with a fake name while on a traffic stop. Once he was identified, warrants for his arrest were located. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 27: A 41-year-old man from Somerset was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On April 28: A 64-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Van Zandt Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.
On April 30: A 38-year-old man from Piscataway was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
