Central NJ Hard Rock Bands Perform 2nd Annual Black Friday Show

Central New Jersey hard rock bands Little Dipper and The 39 will once again play their annual Black Friday Show at famed entertainment venue Roxy & Dukes Roadhouse in Dunellen, N.J. on Black Friday, November 28, 2014.

“In the spirit of Black Friday, admission is buy one get one free,” explains Little Dipper’s Mike Nagy. “Both bands will be playing extended sets with new material, and there will be plenty of food and drinks at what is pound for pound the best venue in the world.”

Dunellen, N.J. based Little Dipper has been around for the better part of the last decade. Little Dipper’s melodies and creative guitar work has previously tied them to rock bands like Foo Fighters and Jimmy Eat World; The band’s latest effort, The Last Broadcast, their debut for Hillsborough, N.J.-based Lump’N‘Loaf Records, has drawn comparisons to more punk and art-rock acts like Queens Of The Stone Age. The 39 has been together for over the past two decades and features a diverse sound that harkens back to heavy music’s acknowledged Golden Age of the 70’s and 80’s.

“Write it down on your calendars,” Nagy notes, “because once you’re finished eating, shopping, and fighting with your family, you’re going to want to unwind and check out the show.”
