Raconteur Radio will present “A Christmas Carol: A Staged Radio Play” at the Bernards Township Library on Thursday, December 11 at 7 pm.
Adapted from Charles Dickens’ classic novella, the story tells of the misanthropic penny pincher named Ebenezer Scrooge and his ideological, ethical, and emotional transformation after the supernatural visits of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.

Raconteur Radio, based in Metuchen, creates the feel of a 1930s radio play with their shows. The production will feature costumes, props and sound effects as part of the drama, and will be interspersed with commercials from the time. This free program, geared for adults, but suitable for children ages 10 and older, is sponsored by the Friends of the Bernards Township Library.
