Colonial Park Paddle Boats, Putting Course To Open Saturday

The putting course and the paddle boats on Powder Mill Pond at Colonial Park in Franklin Township will open for the season on Saturday.

SOMERSET, NJ — The putting course and the paddle boats on Powder Mill Pond at Colonial Park in Franklin Township will open for the season on Saturday.

The Colonial Park Putting Course is designed on more than 1.5 acres and offers gardens and natural landscaping rather than the amusements found at traditional miniature golf courses.

The putting course will be open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. through Sunday, June 10. Beginning Saturday, June 16, the facility will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fee is $8 for adults; $5 for youth and seniors; and $2 for children under 5 years. Discounted 10-visit passes are also available.

Foot-powered paddle boats on the Powder Mill Pond on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. Beginning Saturday, June 16, the boats will be available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fee is $13 per half hour for premium boats and $10 per half hour for standard boats and $10 per person for the putting course and paddle boat combo. A boat with hand pedals is available for persons with limited mobility.
