County Online Auction May 17-24

You can inspect items May 19 and 20 at the South County Public Works Facility on Roycefield Road in Hillsborough.

Somerset County Freeholder Patricia Walsh, purchasing liaison, invites the public to take advantage of the upcoming Somerset County online auction of surplus property. The auction will start at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, and will begin to close at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.

The selection of 154 items to be sold includes cars, pickups, buses and other vehicles; lawn mowers and garden equipment; miscellaneous tools, lights and vehicle parts; generators; a forklift; miscellaneous parks items, including pond fountains; desks, file cabinets and beverage carts; and many more.

A list of auction items, along with terms and conditions of sale, is available at http://bit.ly/2017SpringAuction Photos of items are expected to be posted on the USGovBid website at www.usgovbid.com by Monday, May 15.

Inspection is strongly recommended. Items may be inspected Friday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, May 20, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South County Public Works Facility, located at 410 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.

All property will be sold as-is, where-is. There is no buyer’s premium. However there is a one-time registration fee charged by the auction company; visit www.usgovbid.com for details.

Payment is due within 24 hours of notification. Items purchased must be removed by June 2. The buyer is responsible for all loading and transporting of property.
