DISTRICT 7, NJ — Roger Bacon is running for election in the House of Representatives 7th Congressional District primary election on June 7. He is running against eight other candidates.

Democrat Bacon is running against incumbent Tom Malinowski in the contested primary. There are also seven other Republicans including Kevin B. Dorlon, Erik Peterson, Thomas H. Kean, Jr., Philip Rizzo, John Henry Isemann, Sterling I. Schwab, and John Flora competing on the Republican ticket.

Education: High School graduate, U.S. Navy technical training, on the job training, and life experiences.

Occupation: Retired mechanic and realtor.

Previous Elected or Appointed Office: None

Why are you seeking to run for election for District 7?

Because no incumbent should ever run unopposed.

Do you feel flooding is an issue in the district? How would you like to address it?

I suggest victims of flood damage follow the advice of local land use engineers.

How do you feel about Roe v Wade potentially being overturned?:

As someone who interprets the constitution literally, in my opinion the supreme court has no such power of judicial review.

What other issues do you feel must be tackled in the district?

Because secure elections are the bedrock of our republic I demand the 11/2020 election be thoroughly investigated Watergate-style with immunity to whistleblowers.

What sets you apart from the challenging candidates?

I am the ONLY CANDIDATE demanding that the New Jersey legislature remove Phil Murphy from office for violating his constitutional duties and his oath of office.

What else would you like to share about yourself or your campaign?

The Constitution reads "We The People" not 'we the politicians', I am for putting America and Americans' rights first!
