Festivities to begin at 6 p.m. Tree to be lit at 7 p.m. - Municipal Complex

Hillsborough Township’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is tonight, Dec. 4 at the Municipal Complex.
“This year the festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and Santa is expected to arrive at 7 p.m. courtesy of the Flagtown Fire Department, to light the tree,” reported Committeeman Frank DelCore, Liaison to the Parks and Recreation.
“Each year the event grows in popularity and it is a wonderful community event. This year the festivities will include complimentary trackless train rides, a petting zoo, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate, kettle corn for purchase and, of course, the highlight being a visit with Santa Claus,” added Committeeman DelCore.
Residents are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy donation for the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Company #2’s Holiday Toy Drive. Collection boxes will be available.
“Admission to the Christmas Tree Lighting is free and all residents are invited,” concluded Committeeman DelCore.
