Downed Power Line Causes Road Closure, Outage In Hillsborough

Breaking: New Center Road is closed in Hillsborough on Tuesday afternoon due to a downed power line​.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — New Center Road is closed in Hillsborough on Tuesday afternoon due to a downed power line, police reported around 3:15 p.m.

The road is closed between Beekman Lane and Auten Road. Drivers are advised to plan an alternate route.

As a result of the outage, PSE&G is reporting fewer than five residents are without power. Estimated restoration is 7:45 p.m.
