Dr. Kah-Wai Lin Awarded Medals of Merit by the Government of Mongolia

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ / February 14, 2026 / Dr. Kah-Wai Lin, the resident of Hillsborough, New Jersey, was honored to receive the Medal of Merit from the Mongolian Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, as well as the Medal of Merit from the Governor's Office of Bayan-Ölgii, in recognition of his contributions to tourism promotion, cultural and wildlife conservation, and international collaboration. The awards were officially presented by Erdenebold Sukhbaatar, Member of Parliament, at the Parliament of Mongolia.

"It is a great privilege to be recognized in this way," said Dr. Lin. "I am deeply grateful for the trust, collaboration, and support of all those I have worked with in Mongolia. This honor belongs to everyone who shares the commitment to protecting nature, culture, and wildlife."

Dr. Lin is the owner of Kah-Wai Lin Photography and the president of Global Heritage Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation. He has collaborated closely with local communities, conservation organizations, and government partners, contributing to initiatives focused on environmental protection, cultural preservation, and wildlife conservation. His work includes organizing photography workshops in cooperation with local tour companies and communities, facilitating cultural activities, and promoting Mongolia through photography and videos to his large social media following.

In addition, Dr. Lin has partnered with the Wild Camel Protection Foundation and numerous other conservation organizations to advance endangered wildlife protection initiatives in Mongolia.

The awards reflect Mongolia's recognition of his dedication and positive impact on the country's culture, environment, and international engagement.
