Driver Stuck In Flooded Waters Rescued In Montgomery
Alfreda Digeronimo, 69, of Belle Mead was driving a through a flooded roadway south of Dead Tree Run Road when her vehicle became disabled.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Belle Mead firefighters rescued a township local who tried driving through a flooded roadway on Monday.
Alfreda Digeronimo, 69, of Belle Mead was driving a 2006 Acura through a flooded roadway south of Dead Tree Run Road when her vehicle became disabled and she became stranded at around 1:30 p.m., Montgomery Police reported.
Montgomery Police and Belle Mead and Blawenburg Fire Companies responded to conduct the water rescue.

Digeronimo was rescued and not injured. She was issued a traffic ticket for driving on a closed road and she is scheduled to appear in the Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
