Drug Bust On Route 22: Hillsborough Man Among 18 Charged
A joint investigation with authorities from Hunterdon County, NJ State Police, and the FBI after drug activity was reported on the highway.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough man is among 18 people who were charged following an investigation into drug activity along Route 22 in Hunterdon County, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.
Leonard S. Jones 4th, 48, of Hillsborough, was arrested on Sept. 14, for three counts of distribution of cocaine and one count of tampering with evidence.
The 18 arrested stemmed from a joint initiative between the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, the Clinton Township Police Department Investigative Division, Clinton Township Patrol and K9 Officers, the New Jersey State Police Troop “B” Strategic Investigations Unit, and the FBI, said Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson.

The investigation was launched after Clinton Township Police began receiving complaints about drug activity along Route 22 in the township, said Robeson.

- Leonard S. Jones 4th, 48, of Hillsborough, was arrested on Sept. 14, for three counts of distribution of cocaine and one count of tampering with evidence
- Jessica Andreko, 44, of Monmouth Junction, was arrested on Sept. 14, for conspiracy to distribute cocaine
- Charles Mornick, 34, of Villas, was a wanted person and was charged on Sept. 15, for distribution of cocaine
- Cannon Wagner, 25, of Phillipsburg, was arrested on Aug. 13, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of suboxone, unlawful possession of a prescription legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Jonathan Todaro, 32, of Rock Hill SC, was arrested on June 22, for burglary committed on May 30
- Scott Horvath, 41, of Phillipsburg, was arrested on Aug. 30, for possession with intent
- t to distribute methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a prohibited knife.
- Jeremy Berger, 55, of Bridgewater, was arrested on June 3, for possession of heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine and possession of a needle
- Steven Haggan, 54, of Neshanic Station, was arrested on June 3, for two counts possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Brett Badore, 45, of Glen Gardner, was arrested on June 25, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Brad Badore, 39, of Clinton Township, was arrested on June 25, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of methadone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Maria Gutierrez Johnson, 36, of Coopersburg PA, was arrested on June 25, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to make a lawful disposition of a controlled dangerous substance, and under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Shawn Packard, 49, of Belvidere, was arrested on Aug. 5, for possession of suboxone
- Mark Dilauro, 60, of Ringoes, was arrested on Aug. 13, for contempt
- Joshua Rivera, 38, of Phillipsburg, was arrested on July 8, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Karen Stephens, 62, of Clinton Township, was arrested on July 14, for disorderly conduct
- Kathryn Hansen, 38, Bordentown, was arrested on Aug. 29, for possession of suboxone and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Luis Carreon, 33, of North Brunswick, was arrested on Sept. 14, for two counts of distribution of cocaine
- Darryl Black, 55, of Somerset, was arrested on Sept. 16, for two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia
All those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
