DWI Arrests, Shoplifting, Theft Reported In Hillsborough
Hillsborough Township Police released its blotter for the month of July.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — DWI arrests, shoplifting, and theft were among the incidents reported in July.

July 1: A residence of Pirozzi Lane reported two checks and silver coins were stolen from his residence. The investigation is ongoing.
July 2: Petrock’s Liquor store (419 Amwell Road) reported two male suspects entered the store and took a bottle of alcohol without paying. The bottle was valued at $59.99. The investigation is ongoing.

July 3: Petrock’s Liquor store (419 Amwell Road) reported a male entered the store and stole a bottle of alcohol worth $59.99. A suspect was developed from surveillance and Dyshaun Williams of Bound Brook was charged with shoplifting (disorderly person offense) and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
July 6: A resident on Horseshoe Drive reported pry marks on a rear window of the residence. There were no signs of entry into the residence. The investigation is ongoing.
July 8: Walgreens (706 Rt. 206) reported a male took $2,000 worth of perfume from the locked display case before fleeing in a maroon Honda Civic. The investigation is ongoing.
July 8: Graffiti was located on a mural in Ann Van Middlesworth park (584 Pleasant View Road).
A black Dodge Charger was in the parking lot at the time of the damage. The investigation is ongoing.
July 9: Abraham Dunning, 43, of Lowndes, Georgia was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Maybus Ct. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
July 9: A resident of Robin Road reported their BMW motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot. There were no suspects or surveillance of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
July 9: A Terhune Lane resident reported a package containing a cell phone was taken off the front porch by an unknown male suspect. The phone was valued at $342. The investigation is ongoing.
July 11: While on a traffic stop on Route 206 near Lindstrom Drive, the driver of a Honda Accord with a temporary Pennsylvania registration fled the scene after being asked for identification. The Honda fled south on Route 206 and would not stop for officers. The investigation is ongoing.
July 12: A resident of Beekman Lane reported a package containing cell phones was taken off the front porch after delivery. They valued the phones at $2,916. The suspect was a male wearing a black hat, black hoodie, black shorts, black shoes, and a mask. The investigation is ongoing.

July 13: Jose Liendo, 30, of Newark and Angel Diazriera, 23, of Newark were charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) for taking power tools and assorted hardware without paying from Lowes (315 Rt. 206). They were also charged with hindering (disorderly persons) and disorderly Conduct (Township Ordinance) for providing false identifying information.
July 15: Roberto Tello, 41, of Bound Brook was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Triangle Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
July 15: A resident of Holecomb Drive reported a man was seen removing mail from the mailbox. The victim believes the male may have taken a check for $848. The investigation is ongoing.
July 15: Michael Feinthel, 43, of Hillsborough was charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) after taking a bottle of alcohol without paying from Bottle King (626 Rt. 206). He was given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date and released.
July 17: A 25-year-old resident of South Amboy reported his tool bag and Air pods were taken from a shopping cart at the ShopRite (601 Rt. 206). He reported he was performing maintenance work in the store when his tools were taken. The investigation is ongoing.
July 17: Munstasir Syed, 32, of Hicksville, NY was charged with obstruction (disorderly persons) and several motor vehicle summonses after he failed to stop for officers trying to conduct a traffic stop. He was located moments later in the same area, stopped and arrested. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
July 18: A Millstone River Road resident reported over a month time frame his dirt bike went missing from the backyard shed. There were no signs of forced entry into the shed and there was no surveillance of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
July 23: A resident of Auten Road reported $294 in cash was stolen from his vehicle while a co-worker was living with him. At this time the suspect could not be located. The investigation is ongoing.
July 26: Humberto Castiglioni, 57, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
July 28: A resident of Branchburg reported trail cameras and a tree stand were taken off his hunting property on Brook Drive. He valued the items at $500 and they were last seen on July 18. The investigation is ongoing.
July 29: A Renate Drive resident reported his 2023 BMW motorcycle was taken from the parking lot overnight. Surveillance of the incident is being sought. The investigation is ongoing.
July 30: Tractor Supply (256 Rt. 206) reported a man left the store without paying for power tool batteries. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a white SUV. The staff valued the batteries at $426.38. The investigation is ongoing.
July 31: Arun Durairaj, 34, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic on Old Camplain Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
