DWI Crash, Shoplifting, Drug Arrests Reported In Hillsborough
Hillsborough Police reported making multiple arrests on charges of driving while intoxicated, shoplifting, drug possession and more.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police reported making multiple arrests on charges of driving while intoxicated, shoplifting, drug possession and more.
Hillsborough Police blotter:
On Sept. 30: A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, both of Bound Brook, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after a motor vehicle stop by police on Route 206. Nicholas was also issued motor vehicle summonses for controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle and unsafe lane change. They were released with a court date.

On Sept. 30: A 22-year-old woman from Plainfield, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after the vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped by police on Roycefield Rd. She was released with a future court date.
On Oct. 3: A 35-year-old man from Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with DWI during an unrelated investigation on Durling Way. He was processed and released with a court date.

On Oct. 3: A 19-year-old man from Newark, was charged with possession of marijuana after the vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped by police on Farm Rd. He was released pending a court appearance.
On Oct. 5: A 25-year-old woman from Glouster City, was arrested and charged with possession of Hashish oil after being stopped by police on Route 206. She was also issued summonses for unclear plates and controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle. She was released with a future court date.
On Oct. 7: A 27-year-old woman from Teaneck, was charged with 2 counts of shoplifting that occurred on Oct. 7 and 9 at Bottle King. She removed bottles of liquor from the business on these dates. She was released with a court date.
On Oct. 9: A 35-year-old woman from Fairlawn, was charged with shoplifting from Bottle King, possession of marijuana, and possession of drugparap hernalia. She removed bottles of liquor from the business without paying. She was released pending a future court date.
On Oct. 10: An 18-year-old man from Hillsborough, was arrested for possession of marijuana during the course of a suspicious person investigation by police at 649 Route 206. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol. He was released with a court date.
On Oct. 14: Nicholas Pepe, 29, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with DWI as a result of a motor vehicle crash on Yates Drive. He was also issued summonses for refusal to submit to breath tests, failure to maintain lane, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report an accident. He was released with a court date.
On Oct. 15: An 18-year-old man from Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a motor vehicle stop by police on Amwell Road. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was released pending a future court date.
On Oct. 16: Jonathan Peritz, 30, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with DWI, possession of a prescription legend drug, and under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance(CDS) as a result of a motor vehicle complaint on Amwell Road. He was also issued summonses for driving while intoxicated within school zone, failure to produce insurance card and license, careless driving, CDS in a motor vehicle, and failure to use headlights. He was released with a court date.
On Oct. 17: A 22-year-old man from Plainfield was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped by police on Route 206 for a motor vehicle violation. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for unregistered vehicle, obstruction of windshield, failure to inspect, failure to insure, possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle, and failure to produce documents. He was released with a court date.
On Oct. 19: A 40-year-old man from Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped by police on Route 206. He was also issued summonses for controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle and maintenance of lamps. He was released pending a court appearance.
On Oct. 24: A 31-year-old man from Piscataway, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped by police on Route 206. He was also issued summonses for driving while suspended, maintenance of lamps, and controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released with a future court date.
On Oct. 31: A 30-year-old man from Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with DWI after being stopped on Farm Road by police. He was also issued summonses for open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, failure to stop at stop sign, and improper operation at intersection controlled by traffic signal. He was processed and released with a court date.
