DWI Driver Found With Loaded Gun After Crashing Into Pole: Montgomery Police
William Schlotthauer, 26, of Wyncote, PA, was arrested, charged, and issued several traffic summonses.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — A Pennsylvania man was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a loaded firearm after he crashed into a utility pole, said Montgomery Township Police.
On May 13 at around 02:14 a.m., Montgomery Police Officers went to the area of County Route 601 near Skillman Road for the report of a single-vehicle collision into a utility pole.
Officers found William Schlotthauer, 26, of Wyncote, PA who was outside of his pick-up truck that was disabled from the crash, said police.

During the investigation, Schlotthauer was found to have a loaded firearm on himself and determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol, said police.
Schlotthauer was arrested, charged, and issued several traffic summonses.

He was taken to Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Schlotthauer was then taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a court appearance.
