Elderly Man Accidentally Run Over By SUV In Montgomery: Police
The 79-year-old man, visiting from India, fell down while trying to get in an SUV when the driver accidentally drove over him, police say.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — An elderly man was accidentally run over while trying to get into an SUV in Montgomery last week, police say.
On July 20 at 9:23 a.m., Montgomery Police and Montgomery EMS Squad went to the parking lot of the north building of Johnson & Johnson for a pedestrian who was hit by a car and stuck underneath it, said police.
An 18-year-old woman from Monmouth Junction was driving a 2019 Mercedes GLA250 when the 79-year-old man, visiting from India, fell to the ground while trying to get into the back seat of the SUV, according to the police investigation.

The driver did not realize the man never got into the SUV when she started to pull forward about five feet and accidentally drove over the man, said police.
The elderly man had a cut to the back of his head and an injury to his right knee as a result. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital of New Brunswick where he was later released.
